Chris Looney, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Chris Looney, the Founder and CEO of Fulcrum Nonprofit Leadership, has committed his professional life to the advancement of the nonprofit sector. Today, Chris is most interested in elevating the field of nonprofit leadership and the capacity of nonprofit executives to succeed. Nonprofit leadership runs in the Looney family. Chris is the son of two legendary nonprofit fundraisers and his wife, Anisha, works in fundraising as well for a well-known research hospital. For 25 years, Chris provided advice, guidance, and support to hundreds of organizations in his role as a senior leader for CCS Fundraising, one of the nation’s largest and most successful fundraising consulting firms. During his tenure with the firm, Chris partnered with thousands of nonprofit executives and hundreds of clients, facilitating billions of dollars to be raised. Through the years, Chris also served in key leadership positions connected to the nonprofit sector and philanthropy. AFP International Foundation for Philanthropy, AFP of Orange County, The Giving USA Foundation, the Giving Institute, Girls Inc. of Orange County, the Princeton Club of Orange County, The Salvation Army College for Officer Training, and Mariners Church have all benefited from the leadership and engagement of Chris Looney. After decades working with nonprofit leaders as a consultant, Chris developed Fulcrum Nonprofit Leadership alongside his other companies and book writing efforts. Chris is the author of two fundraising books, The Five Tool Fundraiser and 365 Fundraising Truisms, and a book on nonprofit leadership, 365 Nonprofit Leadership Lessons. In addition to Fulcrum, Chris is the founder of The Five Tool Fundraiser (www.5toolfundraiser.com) and AltruList (www.altrulist.com), two additional companies serving the nonprofit sector. Chris and his wife, Anisha, live in Irvine, California with their three children. The family is actively involved with the local public school district, local little league, a number of charities, and Mariners Church.

Mansi Chokshi, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer

Mansi Chokshi is a dedicated professional with a lifelong passion for making a positive impact in the nonprofit sector. She pursued her academic journey in alignment with this passion, graduating with a double major in Social Sciences and Sociology, with a special emphasis on Public and Community Service. Today, Mansi is Co-Founder and Special Consultant for Fulcrum Nonprofit Leadership and Talent Strategy and DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging) leader at SCAN, a prominent Nonprofit Healthcare Services organization. Mansi brings a wealth of experience, having spent a significant portion of her 15-year career at the global nonprofit Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) as the Regional Community Director. Beyond her professional endeavors, Mansi is deeply involved in the non-profit sector as a volunteer and Vice President of the Board of Directors of the International Women’s Coffee Alliance (IWCA), and founder and past Board of Directors member for US Women in Coffee Association. Passionate about empowerment, community support, and collaborative relationships, Mansi adopts a design thinking approach to problem-solving. Her work is guided by a commitment to respect for all individuals, and she places a strong emphasis on inclusivity, diversity and accessibility. Residing in Southern California with her husband and an enthusiastic 9-year-old daughter, Mansi Chokshi continues to be a driving force for positive change in her community and beyond.
