Fulcrum Member Exchanges are designed for deeper dialogue, peer learning, and candid conversation around the real challenges nonprofit leaders face. These sessions create space for members to learn from one another and from experienced practitioners.
At this March Exchange, Kyle Houlton, Major Nesan Kistan, and Justin Coleman will lead a discussion focused on a leadership challenge many nonprofit organizations underestimate: preparing leaders to manage people well.
Newly promoted executives are often elevated because they were outstanding individual contributors, not because they were trained to lead and manage others. This Exchange will explore two connected themes:
